In honor of the brave women who persevered in securing women's right to vote, the Leage of Women Voters Corpus Christi Area is hosting its annual Women's Equality Day Dinner and Silent auction on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, 5:30 pm--8:30 pm, at Holiday Inn Airport, 5549 Leopard St, in the Lone Star Room. The guest speaker for the evening will be Stephanie Williams, Senior Organizing Manager, Black Votes Matter. 

Tickets are $60/person or $480/table of 8. Tickets/tables may be reserved on the LWV Corpus Christi Area events calendar. Alternatively, you may mail a check to the League of Women Voters Corpus Christi Area, PO Box 8276, CC, TX 78468. The reservation process allows you to choose your entree: Chicken Piccata or a vegan option. Deadline to register is August 19, 2026 at 12:00 pm.
